Oye Basanti is a built-in assistant that answers questions about your business from its live data — stock, requests, orders, variances, vendors, and recipe costs. Tap the gold Basanti mark and ask in plain language; she reads the numbers and replies.
Find her on the gold Basanti button in the top bar on desktop, and as a floating button on the mobile (outlet) app.

What you can ask

  • “What’s low on stock?”
  • “Which purchase requests are pending?”
  • “Any open variances this week?”
  • “What does this recipe cost to make?”
  • “Which vendors supply tomatoes?”
She answers from what’s true right now — never invented figures — and cites the actual items and numbers behind the answer.

What she can’t do

Basanti is read-only. She can look things up and explain them, but she can’t change anything — no creating, editing, approving, or deleting. Those stay in your hands on the normal screens.

Good to know

She respects your access

You only get answers about what your role is allowed to see. If you can’t view a report on the normal screens, Basanti won’t surface it either.

Monthly allowance

Each answer draws on your workspace’s monthly AI allowance. The panel shows how much of this month’s allowance you’ve used. When it’s reached, Basanti pauses until it resets on the 1st.
The assistant needs to be enabled for your workspace. If it isn’t configured, the button explains that it’s unavailable — the rest of the app is unaffected.
